    2014 Spanish GP Thread

    Well a 3 week gap is coming towards an end and so with the lack of activity here this last week I felt it time to open this thread. I suppose its a case of which Merc driver will win. You would have to say Hamilton is favourite considering the last 3 races. After that Red BUll and Alonso will probably be strong.

    Hope the Mercs still are in control,but if Ross has been to Marinello to sign up to work for them ,that may help there cause .

    I guess the favorite has to be Lewis (and I'll be cheering for him...) but the big wildcard after a three week gap has to be exactly what upgrades the teams will bring. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to see Ferrari and RB bring some upgrades that close the gap to Mercedes somewhat, but actually being competitive seems like a longshot.

    Either way, glad to have the most interesting racing in quite some time... roll on Friday!

    I wonder how much of an improved car Mercedes can bring to Spin. I mean we would expect the other teams to close the gap on Mercedes. However I just wonder if Mercedes can improve their car. Lets hope its so fast that they cannot improve anymore and it allows Ferrari, Red Bull and others to close the gap.

    Redbull has given Vettel a new chasis for spain. hmm if he doesnt come on top i guess Redbull are in for a bad season.
