In my opinion a huge step back.

It seems to my that ACP knows they won't be able to hold the rally for much longer with all this financial problems, so instead of a good proper route they go for something easy and empty.

Why not keep night stages?! Last year they were a sucess, for spectators atleast. Why not do the 2 friday stages at night? If they did it at night it would be totally different spectacle and specators would be able to get off from work late friday and still go see the stages, though not having to take a day off work if they want to see some action on friday.

Much better to have the SS in Lisbon and then the two stages way into the night.

    Huge dissapointment.

The route for 2013 has been confirmed:

April 11th (Thursday): QS in Vale Judeu in the morning & Ceremonial Start in the dock of Vilamoura in the afternoon.

    12th:
Mu (20'32 km x2): New version of Felizes, different end.
Ourique (18'32 kmx2): New stage using roads which were part of other stages, mostly Santa Clara.
Lisbon (SSS): It starts at 18:05. The drivers will do recce before, sign autographs and things like that.
To sum up, in comparison to 2012 we won't see the night stages on Thursday and there are two less stages on Friday because of this liaison to and from Lisbon.

    13th:
Santana da Serra (31'12 km x2), Vascăo (25'37 km x2) & Loulé (22,78 km x2): The three of them are now a few meters longers. The major change is that Loule will be run in the opposite direction.

    14th:
Silves (21'52 km x2): Same stage as in 2012.
Almodôvar (52'30 km x2, the last one will be the Power Stage): This new stage is designed joining the stages of Ourique and Almodovar. I believe the famous jump is back.

The itinerary has a total of 1630,92km, 386,73km of them are stages.
