Heard a lot of rumours about a massive pack of Citroen WRC's driving there.
3x DS3 WRC
2x C4 WRC
2x Xsara WRC..
But like every year, we have to wait what's really driving thereFollow us at http://facebook.com/rallymedia or http://www.rallymedia.nl !

It could be interesting to see how he does against Loix-Fabia S2000 and Cherain-Fiesta R5. For Cherain it is his home-event, I think it's the 10th time he participates. In Ypres he was really fast but it was only his 3rd Ypres Rally.
The car Meeke is driving is from MY Racing by the way, it should be the car Chardonnet has been driving this season.

Petter Solberg is going to drive the Rallye du Condroz, with this C4 WRC! Another world star after the confirmation of Meeke (DS3 R5). Strong rumors concerning a participation of François Duval in a Citroën WRC car as well... To be continued.

Is anyone able to help me with a few questions about visiting Rallye du Condroz from the UK? Is it an easy rally to spectate at? Do you need a car or can you rely on taxis/public transport etc? Any advice appreciated.

It's an easy rally to spectate, and due to the weather conditions and the season of the year, probably the most spectacular event in Belgium. Youtube is full of videos for proof. You definitely need a car, public transport is very poor outside big cities in Belgium, and a taxi is for sure more costly than renting a car. Centre of the rally and service park are in the city center of Huy. It's very likely that all hotels nearby will be completely booked already, they already are fully booked several months before the event. The rally consists out of 22 stages (245km SS) on 2 days. It is very easy to see 4 stages on both saturday and sunday (so 8 stages in total), I think we will be going for 10 stages (6 on saturday, 4 on sunday). The distance between stages is quite small, but I can't stress enough that you must take your time, as there is a lot of traffic, and all people are moving between stages. I don't know any rally with bigger traffic jams than Condroz. Nowadays it's one of the most crowded rallies in the world I think, maybe not in numbers, but it feels like that when you're on the stages. Luckily most of the stages exist out of open fields, so there's no worrying about not finding a place with a good view. When the rally's getting closer (let's say 10 days to 1 week before the event) you can always mail me (you can find my adress on my website) for some spectating points and maps.

You're a star tommeke, thank you! I assume it's possible to sleep in the car overnight near the stages? If so I can just drive over and not worry about accommodation!

Nonsense indeed when you even yourself admit they cite other publications… I wish them well but at the moment I don’t see them adding any value writing the same articles Anyway. Off topic ...
