50's Car Test
50's Car Test
Alright you young & older whipper-snappers, let’s see how you do. Be honest with yourself….no cheating. See how you do.
The average score is 73%
This will really rattle the cobwebs in the'olbrain.

I am ashamed to say my score was 69%. I went too fast thru the test, don't make my mistake."If you can help others, and fail to do so, your time on earth has been wasted" - Roberto Clemente

"You got 85% (41 right out of 48). The average score is 73%"
The things which throw me off are Plymouth/De Soto things. It certainly doesn't help that they were sold out of the same dealerships and were further confused with Imperial.
For GM and Ford though, I'm pretty right... and secretly wish they'd bring back the single spinner and stick it on Mondeos. The Old Republic was a stupidly run organisation which deserved to be taken over. All Hail Palpatine!

I got 62%, I was born in 1969 so I was trying to go from memory of 1950's NASCAR racer photos to identify them where I could (that said I missed the Hudson Hornet on #12, confusing it with the Chevy). Needless to say I have never seen some of them, but a frat brother of mine had a 1959 Cadillac (red, too!, just like the one in the test so I was familiar with some)

So they're all cars from the US?
77% for me, but didn't click the right button a few times. How else can I miss a Buick Roadmaster?

I got 65%. I did not know many of the cars but when there were questions about identifying the years that cars were produced they were pretty straightforward, because the style of cars back then changed quite noticeably over half a decade.

I was a bit unhappy to only see US cars, but then I thought it would be kind of impossible to do otherwise.

You got 88% (42 right out of 48).
Better than I thought I'd do.

I got 75% , it seems the years spent reading v8 magazine as a kid didn't go to vaste. Altough some of the answers were guesses.
