Finnish F-Cup series continued yesterday after a long hiatus. First gravel event was held in Western Finland at Uusikaupunki. Volvo was the make of the day as team partners Jaska Nuorala and Tero Salminen took a one-two before Kimmo Juhannusvuori in BMW.
Here's a very nice, fast and flowing onboard from the winner Nuorala: Nyt ei nostella - Jaska Nuoralan in-car EK5 // F-Cup 2013 Uusikaupunki - YouTube Average speed of 114,2 km/h.
Following weekends will keep Finnish rallying fans busy. Next weekend is Historic Rally Trophy event in Heinola, then F-Cup in Urjala, then FRC grande finale in Tampere, then Historic Rally Trophy and rally sprint finale, then F-Cup finale in Naantali. That's the way it should be :-)Photos: rallirinki.kuvat.fi | Twitter: @HartusvuoriWRC
Really?? I'm no fan of F1, but too many here have a giant chip on their shoulder about F1......Compared to the WRC, it's actually a well run series....unlike the WRC which is extremely amateur a lot...
