I never liked the guy but unlike others i'm not going to take any pleasure in his demise. He's clearly a troubled guy who needs help and I hope he gets it and can turn his life around. Right now that doesn't seem likely.

Anyone who messes with Meth doesn't get my sympathy. To knowingly start taking an illegal narcotic (that has been proven to be HIGHLY addictive and detrimental) is an act of stupidity and arrogance. He has made his bed, let him lie in it...at some point, you have to save your sympathy for those who legitimately have been dealt a bad hand by fate. Jeremy Mayfield had talent, a dream job and tossed it all away......
