unbranded engine.
frank wrathall news on btcc website says he is running a toyota based engine to ngtc spec but tony hughes is using an unbranded ngtc spec engine. wht does unbranded mean?

Unbranded means when you look at the engine, you don't know if its a Toyota or a Vauxhall or whatever. Sounds like the Hughes car is running a spec "TOCA" engine that they provide.

thanks for that speedworx. its just that in a previous post about engine types i was told engines are based on manufacturers own engines ie focus with ford based engine and vectra with vauxhall based engine etc. what is o toca spec engine based on?
