Not entertaining as a race but resultwise it looks like it could throw up a shock, 6 laps to go and Blaney leads it

I see Johnson passed Martin below the yellow line but was never penalized

ashamed for Blaney, he was doing so great until Busch, did his usual, version of being Busch.

I didn't see anything penalty worthy. He was back in bounds well before making the pass. It's different, but I enjoyed the race, Heck guys were starting to be lapped at Talladega during the long green flag runs. I haven't seen cars that spread out at Talladega since before restrictor plates.

I do have a question though, Was it Dale Johnson, beating Kevin Bowyer to the line by two inches? Or was it Jimmie Earnhardt nipping Clint Harvick on that last lap?

I used to like restrictor plate racing... then I grew up and developed a sense of taste!

The tandems are better than the pack, but still inferior to unrestricted engines.

plate racing produces artificial finishes like these, why are they calling this the best ever???? its Talladega and plate racing. the best finish is still Darlington of 2003 with Ricky Craven and Kurt Busch, that was a real finish.

As far as I'm concerned, the Cup season is only 32 races instead of 36. For me, Daytona and Talladega no longer exist. This new style of "plate" racing is even more ludicrous than it's ever been before.

When they reconfigure those tracks to where they no longer need "plates", I'll put those races back on my "schedule".
