Do you have any idea whats the point with this kind of "organisers nominee" ?

Umm.. maybe to give local talent a chance to prove themselves and show what they can do? to help them get a drive in the future..

Yes but only if they want to. The same goes for JRC rounds. These organiser nominated cars will allways use numbers 59 and 60, so they are easy to spot.

It started last year because the FIA thought there were not enough (good)drivers entering the championship. They let organisers enter 2 extra cars so that the really slow drivers wouldn't score much points for just cruising to finish.

Stupid system, now every win is not equal.
Also this system could be missused easily, if for instance PWRC would be in Finland, they could nominate Ketomäki and someone else who can drive a little to finish behind, our boys.

Tomi, to be honest Sweden and Finland are probably the only countrys in the world where local drivers can fight for JRC or PWRC podiums.
Besides the quest drivers have to follow all PWRC/JRC rules, tyre limitations, mechanincs and mechanical parts limitations and in JRC also age limitation.

The same can be said of other rounds:
Argentina for sure (several years local group N drivers have finished better than usual PWRC drivers), Australia and New Zealand when Crocker, West and others are entered also.

Considering that drivers should nominate 6 rounds, and not all drivers compete in every round, it is never the same. Competition varies from round to round, and guest drivers are another option. I think it is good for competitive reasons, as guest drivers are susually competitive ones, which add interest to each rally.

Nobody said anything about it being unfair last year in Rally Finland when Rantanen took third place points in JWRC as a guest driver
