Is it OK however if R2 means nowt to you? If you ask me what R2 is I would have said a fictional robot. I would have never linked it to a type of a rally car. In the beginning I thought the R2 suffix was an actual type of Ford Fiesta (like TDi, XR4, XR2i or ST is).

    Still nee wiser though! :

Does R2 mean it is a JWRC, PWRC or WRC car?
I didn't should at all, where do you see any !!! marks or lots of capital letters, the O on No was just a typo?

    R2 is 1600cc therefore JWRC.

It falls into the JWRC catagory but is not a JWRC car. It is true to call a top line car (Focus/C4) a WRC car but the N4 Impreza's/Evo's aren't PWRC cars. They are just cars that can compete in that championship. As per the point from before - not everyone in a Group N Subaru or a Suzuki Swift is necessarily registered for the PWRC/JWRC.

Andreas Mikkelsen in practice before Rally Sweden. Inboardvideo from Mountain Rally Norway last weekend, driving the Subaru Impreza Sti Cup, and competing against Eivind Brynildsen in the Skoda Fabia S2000.
