How is it that the R5 car and livery is so much better than the WRC car?!

Mathieu Arzeno leading after three stages, Sébastien Loeb third: https://www.ewrc-results.com/results...e-du-var-2017/
Hugo Margaillan is an excellent fifth. Is anyone able to tell me more about him? Is he related to Mathieu Margaillan? How old is he? Is there a chance to see him in WRC soon?

Margailland is 21 and was second on this year French Junior Champ’ship using a Fiesta R2J (FFSA ‘light’ junior version). Var is his first experience on a more powerful car. Apparently he’s using Bonato’s DS3, as they are serviced by the same team (CHL).
Amazing times from Loeb; it wasn’t obvious a 306 Maxi could match top R5’s. Only 3 stages so far and less than 20s between P1 and P8, but Arzeno, Michel and Loeb are slightly ahead of competition. Dumas is on a class of his own in RGT; nice fight for P2 between Ciamin (first time on the 124) Delecour and Rouillard.

What about Mathieu Arzeno? past few seasons did only France cup (and did great) - lack of money? looked pretty fast until accident.

Cool to see all the brands on the top 8, not only Skodas hehe. Also, nice run by Armstrong. and its weird to see Hayden losing positions in the end again. The car is good, he is good. whats...
