    Good shots Witty.

Looks like Colin had a bad day at the office.

Cracking photo of the crash and tyres flying, I hope the driver was ok, and car looked very poorly.

I am sorry I missed them.

Thanks guys. The pics were taken with my backup lens, a 300 2.8 (which I detest with a vengeance cos it's too big and too heavy) as my 100-400 was away being repaired.

Camso bodywork is actually pretty flimsy; a rub that gives an ascar a sticker rub will tear a chunk out of the camso. Though actually, the fella that went into the tyres actually raced all day, his car tied together with those nylon straps you see on trucks...

The racing was fast, furious and thrills-a-minute! And let's just say that Colin's lines were............ sideways.

Yeah Paul, you did manage to find a way of driving that was perpendicular to what should have been the direction of travel

Lee, I figured you'd like that one. All being well, I should be at Ipswich. If the racing is as good as Lydden, I'm in for a treat!

What's the story with Lydden, is there a 'proper' oval there, a sort-of oval like Mallory, or just a road course? There are plenty of oval-looking shots there but some look road course looking ones.
If its got breasts or an engine, its gonna cost you...

The oval at Lydden is a sort of half-and-half really, Abo. Actually, it's a mini tri-oval which uses two corners of the road circuit (including Chesson's Drift) and then a loop of tarmac to form the third. However on the oval, you go the opposite way round to the road circuit.

From where I was standing, it looked challenging enough as there's a big change of gradient from one side to another - the trickiest (and tightest) corner is downhill, and you can see from the photos that a lot of the fellas got caught out down there.
