    Stats - check it out

I recently revised and then created a simple web page for my stats.

So far I have listed WRC Champions (including PWRC & JRC) and some simple stats. Hoping to get some feedback.

    The website is: http://www.geocities.com/laziocentur...champions.html

    Thanks

1993 was a special year. Juha Kankkune became world champion, but his co driver Juha Piirone had a illnes in Argentina's recce. So Nickly Grist and later Denis Giraudet jumped in the world champions car. Which means that neither of Juha's co driver has enough points to become co dirvers world champion. So Daniel Grataloup, the co driver of second man in the drivers world chamoionship Francois Delecour, is the co drivers world championship in a Ford Escort RS Cosworth.

You are right. Juha Piironen had an emblysm I think and had to retire. Nicky Grist filled in to assist Juha through the rest of the year (I don't recall Giraudet being there, but I believe you). I was only listing the co-driver of the world champion, normally straight forward, but not in this case.

I did not want to list too many names so I put Nicky, probably because he co-drove Juha in the most events of that year. Plus I don't think they were giving out co-driver's titles in 1993, So I am not sure that Daniel Grataloup actually received an official title.

I am hoping that the stats look okay on that webpage. I am also unsure if I can get everything on there (wrc seasons, drivers stats, rally stats, etc. plus IRC, DTM and Speed World Challenge).

I figured you guys could tell me if I was wasting my time with this geocities site or if it is decent enough delivery system for the statistics.

    Thanks for the input

I noticed that Finland has 7 wdc and 14 titles. Vatanen, Mikkola, Salonen each 1, Gronholm 2, Kankkunen and Makine each 4, makes 6 champions and 13 titlte. And Italia has 2 world champoins and 3 titltes ? Massiomo Biasion 2 and .... ? . I see that they count the FIA trohy in 1978 (Alen) and 1977 (Munari). Is that really counting as a world ?title ?

    You talking about wikipedia, right?

For a second I thought you were saying my numbers were wrong, whew.

Wiki is cool, but the problem is most people see it as official, but I think its mostly submitted by the users, so it is not necessarily more accurate than any website you or I create.

I have most of those comparisons on the "Championship stats" link. Except for the Drivers info. I will be putting this under my "Drivers Stats" section.

Thanks for checking out my site.
