Yes, on reflection I'd have Riccardo on my "ideal grid", driving the 1991 Williams-Renault. He'd be there because of his 256 GP starts, and because he's a great guy.

Ok here it is. I've decided to do two grids, one where anything goes and one more realistic grid.
Here is the former:

Auto Union: Bernd Rosemeyer, Tazio Nuvolari &
Mercedes: Juan Manuel Fangio, Rudolf Caracciola & Stirling Moss

BMW: Wolfgang von Trips, Jackie Stewart, Francois Cevert & Robert Kubica
Brabham-Repco: Jack Brabham & Nelson Piquet
Renault: Rene Arnoux & Didier Pironi
Lotus-Ford: Jim Clark, Jochen Rindt & Graham Hill
Prost Peugeot (joint team): Alain Prost & Sebastian Bordais
VW-Lamborghini: Alberto Ascari & Hermann Lang
Minardi-Porsche: Pierluigi Martini & Andrea De Cesaris
As well as three or four other privateer teams.2008 NASCAR CUP SCRAMBLE CHAMPION
