Not sure where to put this, but it's a great account of the crazy end to the 1974 USA WRC round, the Press-on-Regardless in Michigan, where the local sheriff attempted to end the rally.

Can anyone help me with the 1984 middle East Rally Championship results for rallies in Kuwai, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman & Jordan? I lost all my records and we entered a Porsche 911SCRS sponsored by Gulf Air alongside Rothmans 911SCRS

The history of a specific Celica

    Hi guys.

New user, having followed the forum vigorously for several years, and now I need your help!

Having recently started my rallying career, I have ended up with Suzuki Motorsport in Denmark. The boss of the team is Anders Lysen, who has driven a variety of cars, but one in particular has been of my interest: A Toyota Celica ST205. In itself maybe not the most exciting car, but the history makes it interesting to me.

    The facts I know:
Anders drove the car in 2000.
It ran (fortunately for the 'history lesson') on the number K:AM 3643 when Anders had it.
He bought it from Jens Mulvad, who used it in 1999.
It was used by Freddy Loix at some stage, might have been the Ypres 1996 and '97-winning car.
It was used by Abdullah Bakhashab for a period of time (I assume this to be the car he used in the '98 WRC).
It was reported in a Danish magazine that the car was one of two Celicas used as test mules for Corolla WRC-parts, and that the other car was in the firm grip of TTE/Toyota.
Anders sold the car to a Dutchman or Belgian, he does not remember who.

What I am interested in is the later history of the car, and if possible, the current location of it, as I (and Anders) are very interested in knowing its whereabouts.

    Hope you guys can help!

Have added some details in line for Qatar and Bahrain. I should have Dubai as well but I can't lay my hands on them at the moment.
