    The trouble with getting guests on is that they only want to do it if they have something to plug, the lure of driving a Lacetti isn't fantastic. Basically TG just kind of have to take whoever is available. Add to that the likliehood of whoever represenets JLC and Carr actually asking to be on, something which saves a whole lot of effort on the part of the TG production crew who probably need to worry more about fuel and organising insurance and cars to drive. The guest bit, IMO, is dispensible but you can't overlook that they have to fill an hour each week and it can't all be Ferrari's and Lamborghini's and when they tried doing affordable and informative the show dive bombed and disappeared.
