For all you bicycle/engineers out there..
Im studying the manufacturing processes of carbon fibre construction at the moment and came across Brano Meres quite unique ladder type Carbon fibre racing cycle frame that weighs in at 1215 g (2.7 lbs).

The actual carbon fibre itself is stronger than steel aprox 10 times stronger for a piece of equal weight CF, I'd be a bit worried about the joining technique he used tho..
