Effective, but could be a little bit more daring with his lines. A big risk of understeering of if grip levels changes, or are low, or a corner tightens/is tighter than expected.

Man, Sordo seems really fast on that testing vid but the car seems to be quite nervous and tail happy for me but then again im not a specialist.

    This is not Kubica style.

It looks good on initial turn in - much better than the 15. But mid corner, or in corner where You have an actual direction change, it still looks like it has understeering tendencies. This doesn't have to be a bad thing.

It looks faster than the 15 - but this is very difficult to judge - but it does not look like a revolution.

For me the car seems at its best when there is around 70-80% grip. Then it looks drivable, and benign. More grip and the pointing, darting jumping starts. Less grip, and its sliding everywhere.
But since we have not seen it compared to the other WRC cars, its very difficult, and it can be results of set up, grip levels, strategy, etc etc.
It will be very exiting to follow. I really hope this is a tool to challenge VW, it would be great for the championship!
same impressions as me.Lifts front wheel at small bumps, suspension seems too stiff, and understeer at tight corner entry which drives to oversteer at exits of tight corners.Same disadvantages of the old model.
But as you said we dont know if is the final setup,or if it was a compromise setup for smoother stages etc.

of course its not Kubica style.Kubica at well known test stages is way faster and without errors at all.At last videos Camilli doesnt seem so nice as at first videos.Too much hesitate at corners entry, seems like he was ''searching'' the right line.

Cant say that I agree with those statements. Kubica on tests are too often to fast with to high risk, resulting in a too narrow set up, and also to aggressive driving on the rally proper, leading to multiple offs - even on one and the same rally. Kubica needs to learn three things to become a very good rally driver, but so far its just more of the same. Very impressive speed, extremely high risk.

On Camilli: Testing different set ups and different lines/driving techniques is how You should do a test. You should also drive at about 80% (thats the race pace), and do the set up accordingly. Then You should have a couple of finishing runs at 100% attack, just to see that nothing acts funny, bottoms out etc. This is from "The School Of Mäkinen."
