"It´s the first time..." Seb Marshall said after finish...
Touhino off!! One camera hit by car...
Mikkelsen forgot he is not in a WRC car and tried to paddleshift the gear down at the beginning of the stage, but there was no paddle :D
great time from Lappi, way faster than others
when you realize how amazing this cars are to drive

Not the best photoshop job but I think I would have perferred if the orange accent below the bonnet would have matched.

Neuville off and Evans have had a spin
ah thats why they all with so slow times except Ogier
E: didnt bother Tänak too, Breen goin really great so far
Yes, it's only shakedown, but Breen is amazing - being away long time and still really competitive.
Rovanperä lost one minute or hindered?
Fast loose surface rallies have been his best surface for last 5 years. Do far the shakedown results look very similar to last similar rally in Estonia 2020.
I am sure Breen will do well here, but he really needs to get a chance and impress on the other types of rallies and surfaces.
Should be nice battle in WRC2 - Lappi, Mikkelsen, Huttunen, maybe Veiby, and also probably some local drivers from WRC3 will join in as well.
Neuville got out
Would be nice with yellow filter on the inboard cameras, to better see contours in the all white terrain.
Ogier with a very slow third pass but i guess also just cruising through
Taka like the white stuff!
Fastest if timing is right.
Ekström off
Cruise mode for some of them atm.

so many guys having moments and going off and its just a shakedown
Still many drivers without yellow glasses, so color correction might not suit for all
It was colder back in the days!

"Checking some old stories about @Arcticrally
! Did you know that the 1st edition organized in 1966 was international? That year, the temperatures went down to -54°C!
It was very difficult conditions but 26 of the 34 cars entered in the rally made it to the end! "
Not sure if todays computercars would cope in minus 54?
Ott doesnt seem to care about the tires
im really surprised about this tyre saving to be honest, i mean the conditions are so good so they shouldnt wear out so fast....i would get it if we had conditions like in Sweden last year or it has turned out that the Pirelli actually wears out fast
Dunno but Toyota should have the data if someone, with Hänninen having driven the event.
Also, yesterday there were reports about gravel pulling up already on the recce. Remember that the roads have already been rallied on a month ago. The surface in the summer time is more coarse than in Jyväskylä, because these roads don't have normal traffic compacting it daily. That's why you might see the gravel quicker.
well, Paavo reports and sent photo. Full gravel in the bottom, after three times. No ruts.
For sure they save tyres.
However I think it´s stupid rule. Let the four tyres be outside competition, so we get full speed on SD.
nice time by Egon Kaur on his second run
Looks like big road development atm. Solberg, Greensmith, Loubet etc. all getting 1-2 s/km faster.
Not sure how relevant for the rally.
Is the road order getting changed already after friday (62 km)?
