Looks like a stage win for Tanak
Lappi is dominating in WRC2, Suninen in big fight with Evans, Tidemand little bit behind in fourth.
And Bergkvist has stopped. Is it 1st PSA retirement of the rally ;)
I've just noticed different license plates on the M-Sport Fiesta's... Did they have to be registered in Finland?
But none on the Citroen and VW's
What is the reason of Bergkvist retirement, another mechanical issue or did he went off?

Breen is doing very well!
Shame for Tanak, surprised by Breen's pace and a little disspapointed by Paddon. The roads are fast and flowing like in NZ.
Ogier doing well considering he is sweeping the road. Ogier will be in the lead or close to it this afternoon on the 2nd pass of the stages.
Did Hyundai test on damp roads and now with the rally the roads are drier and Hyundai have less ideal settings? (suspension, rollbars etc)
Did the Sordo crash mean Hyundai did less testing kilometres for the rally?
Lappi going really well, not much more than 0.5s/km off the pace on some stages.

Probably something as stupid as spectators not allowed to walk on the road up to Novikovs jump 1.5 hours before the first car. Safety is good but it doesn't have to go to extremes.Quote:

Yeah. Well I've noticed that trend in NORF the last couple of years. We all know that the plastic ribbon protects you from big dangerous rally cars. If the ribbon fails then you can feel comfortable knowing that the 1000's of spectators bunched up like sardines in the same spot will soften the hit.Quote:

Oh it is very strange and unusual. Ogier is whining about his starting position. Really?
I dare to say that Ogier's performance in the last rallies has start worrying me specially since he is saying he is flat out and is being beaten in the most ralliers by too many competitors not only at the first passages that he is sweeping the road but also at the second passages situation remain unchanged.In the last 2-3 years we have not seen such situation....
