Prop shaft again i guess for Lappi
in the end there is only one person who turns the steering wheel and is able to avoid rocks or holes. some are just better at it than others.
Any footage of the Neuville incident? Wasn't able to watch.
Alternator & transmission problems for Lappi now. Hyundai's are as unreliable as M-Sports eventually.
Sounds like Kalle just going to take the points and not fight Ogier for the win.
I wonder if the punctured tyres are only softs or hards also..
Hards supposed to have thicker sidewalls..?
Lappi appears to be out. Only Sordo survives from the i20s.
That would be extremely wise for him as Ogier doesn't do whole championship (and even if he now suddenly would decide to contest all remaining rounds, he still wouldn't have a chance).
The funny thing is that this would be Ogier's fourth win of the season (against just two for Kalle). And similarly, Ogier has so far won just one stage against Kalle's six stage wins in this rally. So the one with most wins doesn't win the big prize - if it indeed stays like it is.
Purely unlucky for Neuville. That wasn't driver fault imo. Can imagine that hole was getting progressively bigger car after car.
what happen on SS10 with Mikkelsen, Fourmaux and Prokop? all of them don't appear in the standing
There was red flag at some point and maybe they are making some notional times for them..
I expect some shitty mind-games start now - Ogier wants to win, but every pragmatic point of view understands that Rovaperä needs point for securing drivers title...
Ogier losing a lot on splits.. +9.8 SPL2
So, Ogier changed the tire (based on all-live), Pirelli will get some greetings I guess
edit: was not changing the tire, left rear wheel does not seems correct
edit 2: from replay, they went to change but saw that suspension was failed and just continued with that
edit 3: Pirelli guys can breath out now
amazing sunday again tomorrow
so ogier breaks the suspension but still remains 4th. just amazing how lucky that man is.
btw: sordo is now up to 2th.
RC2 standings after SS6 (end of day 1) - Mikkelsen 13., 2:12.7 to the lead
RC2 standings after SS12 (end of day 2) - Mikkelsen 1.
After stage end repairing, Ogier didn't fasten the broken sparewheel either..
Neuville was really unlucky

So, eWRC and rally.tv both show Ogier as 9th overall with +9:47.6 loss to the lead and 10:00:00 as stage time.
It's not the hole Neuville hits i think, it's a tree stump or rock sticking up to the right of it
Ogier OTL, retired for the day.
Would be funny if Ott ends up on the podium
Neuville is a asshole because broke the Hyundai steering.
Ogier is... silence... silence... silence...
Funny people here...
The eight-time world champion wouldn’t comment to the stage-end reporter about what had happened, but once he returned (late) to the service park he opened up to the media and revealed that the same hole that sidelined Neuville was where his afternoon first unravelled.

Have to say, without any national feelings, Mikkelsen's driving this day is extremely good!
He take the risk, and did it perfect!
