I don't think he can match Suninen here, but lets see.
In case of any thoughts Paddon has of "proving Adamo wrong" by beating Breen...
It must be remembered that Breen is there to provide solid 3rd car points should anything happen to Hyundai's 1 & 2. He wont be free to fly and fight for a top position.
Paddon would have to beat some regular WRC drivers to re-show his quality in Finland.
Suninen for sure can be top3 fast. Evans was last year too. It'll be difficult for Paddon to outpace them, no WRC drive several month, new car for him, etc.Quote:

Paddon has to show he still has speed/has it in other car than i20.
Breen has to secure good teampoints or act as a reliable backup for the others if he is slower.
Personally I think there are far too many unknowns going into Finland to make many predictions or he should do this or that’s.
Beyond Tanak likely being fastest, I’m honestly not sure I could say anything with any confidence as to who will be next up....you can kind of make a case for pretty much everybody else to be fast if you want.

Breen is not the problem here, it's the Hyundai. How will the weakest of all four cars fair? Ogier and Lappi can be in the top 3. Suninen can also be up there. Then you have three Toyota's. Last year road position seemed to have a lot to say though. Paddon and Breen have great one, Neuville quite bad.
The number of different cars Breen has driven (and won in !) this year should hold him in good stead for getting used to the i20 quickly.
I would hope Paddon will find the Fiesta pretty good to drive. It is normally pretty good in Finland.

Thinking Evans not being there is a disadvantage as well. If he was there was a known fast guy (in Finland) to compare with, even if Paddon would be slower it would still be some benchmark. Now with basically only Suninen who can either have his best rally ever, or for example massive technical issues or crash there might suddenly not be anyone to compare with on similar terms.
