With Ypres Rally starting tomorrow and being a round of the British Championship, does anyone know if there's usually some live online coverage of the Belgian Championship ?
Chris Ingram leading in Ypres (Belgian Championship) after the first loop:

Very bad crash for Citroen driver and race leader Stephane Lefebvre. Crew is ok.

Thankfully both crew members are ok, another video from the other side;

Too close for comfort to those spectators.
Ingram's dad states:
Need to take 1min 16secs off his time as he was red flagged.
Day 1 video including crash from another angle.

Stage win for Ingram on SS13 although Fourmaux is managing his lead
Two more stage wins for Ingram.
And Loix lost big time and 3rd place on SS15 due to a puncture.
Belgian Championship win at Ypres Rally goes to Chris Ingram. Cherain was pipped for 2nd by Potty on the last stage.

Good job by Formaux and Ingram. Loix also surprised me, shame about his loss on that one stage (reason?)
Summing up, very good rally for Fourmaux and Ingram. They beat all the Belgian national level competition without much trouble. Congratulations!
Worth noticing is another win of the new Renault Clio Rally3 (Benoit Verlinde in the 22nd place) and 2nd place in this category by the great Patrick Snijers :) (24th place):

Nice to see a forum member taking home a class win ;)
Also nice to see a first Ford win since Mr Snyers in 1994 on the biggest event in Benelux.
Jos Verstappen just won the East Belgian Rally with 0.5 seconds advantage in front of Cherain. Very impressive progress for him in the past 1.5 years since his first rally!
yeap,i was following it via ewrc.cz and surprised!
Potty become the younger belgian rally champion (old record was Patrick Snijers in 1983 ! )
Best of video of the last rally in Spa

Vincent Verschueren, Emile Breittmayer and Adrian Fernemont in Citroën for 2024 BRC ;)
The Citroën C3 is becoming the most popular Rally2 car in the belgian championship, at least for the rally van Haspengouw next week :D

Nice entry list!
3 names pop out for the fight for victory in my opinion.
Potty, knows the car, knows the stages, fast out of the box!
Cherain, also knows his weapon, and the stages, hope he is well awake from stage 1
Verstappen, the one doing probably the most km's in that car, but also he has to be on top of the game from start!
After them ,Verschueren, Fernemont, Reynvoet, Bux,..nice fight for top 5 places lets hope!

Victory goes to Cedric Cherain, he was in the fight for podium since very first stage. Potty lost about half a minute with an off on stage 3. Before the last loop of stages Cherain was comfortabel in the lead with nearly half a minute advantage on the rest of the podium contenders Reynvoet, Potty and Bux.
However Cherain made a mistake on stage 10, loosing 17 sec and had puncture on stage 11 so the lead was reduced to just 5,3 sec to Potty and Reynvoet just behind. Bux was another 4 sec further. Everything to be dicided on the last stage, the powerstage. This one was won by Verstappen and Potty was 2,3 faster than Cherain, but Cedric took the overall victory after all. Third podiumplace went to Reynvoet, fourth Bux and fifth Verstappen, who lost too much time in first loop to content for victory, but had a strong finish and ended at 16 sec of Cherain.
It was a very nice and difficult rally to start the season, especially with the road conditions. Good work by organisers as well.
