Some places I haven't seen so far - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoV3IW2Au58
Just got back home, I was not able to follow closely saturday and sunday except power stage, and I didn't miss anything I guess. After Loeb's mistake it was a huge anti-climax, everyone playing it safe and drive home. Nothing interesting going on.
A general though: Loeb's return after 16-18 months and being the only one able and willing to match Ogier's times, says a lot about the lack of competitiveness of the championship and Ogier's superiority. Let's see what Latvala can do in other rallies.
Frustrating isn't it. Funnily my hopes for some competitive teams this year would go to.... Ford. Meeke is fast, but still prone to mistakes, Ostberg, don't want to comment. Hyundai seem to be keen to cruising until new i20 arrive, may be don't have other choice anyway, still I very much doubt the new car will be strong and competitive right from the start. Welcome to VWRC 2015:)

Kibica's last crash (after SS 14 finish) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhBryeZMCpw
For me there are two guys this season who can spoil this VW 1-2-3 every rally and even maybe take some wins, Meeke and Tänak. Can't see anyone else getting close on speed. Very happy that Latvala got second, good start for his WDC and if he can avoid those stupid mistakes then everything is possible.
to me seems like a brake problem.
have we seen this video, totally flat out.!!

Even if he did have a brake problem he caused it by overbraking... ususally when the pedal goes to the floor is due to overheating.
It doesn't change much... 2 or 3 crashes in 4 days doesn't make a difference.
Alright. I'll bite...
The time has come for Latvala to beat the current VW protege,
the way Ogier did it in Citroen to prove he is a true champ material.
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a jaw!
It's a ONCE in a lifetime opportunity one shouldn't miss!
most of times yes,but sometimes with less prone to fade pads. Its not first time that even a wrc car fade his brakes.Last part of stage was very demanding to brakes, plenty of brakes for u turns,a lot of downhill, and not high speed to cool them.
thats right.
Anyway this guy is crazy, really hasn t got any FEAR.
Latvala isnt ready for something like that.First he must be fast at any surface like Ogier.
And as you saw at Monte is not ready.
The only he can do now is to be close at points with Ogier, and if Ogier make a mistake to pass him.
So its a matter of luck, unfortunately for him,and for us.
If this happened to a guy who did not have such a reckless style then i could believe that this was not his fault but with this guy ?? nope...
As Kubica said brakes were ok for the whole stage and there were no sign they were getting worse, brake pedal was hard until end of stage when brakes suddenly failed. Also keep in mind that he started building his team 4 weeks ago. If sponsors are giving him money for driving and are waiting for a better results then we should also wait. At least he gives some color to rallying and a hot topic :)
It's stupid to say it was his fault when on video it clearly shows that brakes didn't worked at all, only handbrake when he was trying to save.
Kubica said on facebook (video), that there wasn't any problems with the brakes during the stage. Just hot brakes on the stage before.
Just before the finish line he wanted to break, but the pedal went into the ground and the only thing he could do was to use the hand brake. He says it was a technical failure
discussing if his 3rd crash in a single event was due to technical problems or not is retarded... i feel at least 5 IQ units lower in intelligence now that i got involved in this argument... the problem is i have room for that but you guys... you guys i worry about.
you did with numbers out from your mind= you did nothing.
you dont know the speed
you dont know where is exactly the flying
you dont know how long straight is before the flying
you dont know when he started to brake
you dont know what corner is after the car dissapears from video, and with how many km/h can run through
you dont know if there was any brake failure
you dont know how is the fade of brakes
i just watched loeb and latvala onboard in wrc+. they braked about 100 meters before flying finish. kubica was flat on the throttle until he crossed the flying finish
