NEWS: Kevin Abbring reveals Hyundai deal is for two seasons. The young Dutchman will drive for the team in both 2015 and 2016. Read the full interview with more details about the deal in the next issue of Rally-eMag, coming early next week.

As someone pointed out even a specialist motorsport publication like Autosport barely mention rallying these days.
Only the fact there´s a German factory and Korean factory and French and semi-English factory team competing, make others have to (maybe) rethink. You want to be where competiton is. And that hasn´t anything to do with how much or little Autosport or any Media writes about rallying.
You live in a wrong country.. here you have at least one headline during each rally day in daily newspaper. And if you follow twitter, then you can see Sander Pärn, Karl Kruuda, Ott Tänak all their co-drivers + many other motorsport people invited to Estonian prime minister office ;-)Quote:

Their focus is primarily on the WTCC - of that there is no question. And I'm pretty sure the WTCC team doesn't have any visible Abu Dhabi sponsorship. If the WRC team didn't have that sponsorship - would they still be in the WRC?? That's a fairly spurious and deliberately negative approach to take to it.
Why not see it as a better sign that the WRC team DOES have sponsorship, while the WTCC car runs with a largely blank car devoid of commercial sponsorship?

I believe is was widely communicated by Citroën themselves that they are dependent of Abu Dhabi money.
They're still a manufacturer entry, but in a different way than VW and Hyundai.
