Mikkelsen has his own song always to play - if someone is faster than him, then "he must taking a lot of risks but we are doing it smart".
I hope they will start overdriving and reach to the finish with good result.

Really bad luck for M-sport/Tänak with the engine, but on a positive side they obviously found speed in the Puma!
The big question is the relability, hope that they also find something there too.

Mikkelsen more often tries to push on afternoon loop, but letting Solberg get away too far now, can be costly.
I missed the start of the stage, did they clarify the situation with Lappi?
Tanak keeping it together will likely see him going past the best Rally2 car well before the power stage.
He is currently around 1.4 sec quicker per kilometre than Solberg. At that pace, a points scoring position will be certain. Good going.
4/4 wins for Tanak. If he can repeat that this afternoon then he's done a great job in proving the speed the Puma is capable of.
Epic time from Linnamäe, 2.6sec faster than Solberg.
Mikkelsen need to pick some tempo up, otherwise his podium-position will be eaten soon.

Whats the forums opinion on Suninen so far?
He has "friday hero" starting position, but it is nice to see that he is really happy, enjoying the opportunity to drive the car. Really day-and-night mood at the stage ends compared to "usual Suninen" from the past. Real pace reality comes tomorrow, when Rovanperä start from more similar road position.
In general - he is doing well. I hope he reach to the finish and delivers.
Doing well in my opinion, I expected him to be ahead of Katsauta and Loubet by the end of the rally but wasn't sure he'd be faster than them on the first loop. Good start but the key thing will be to keep it on the road and get the mileage up rather than chasing after Evans and Lappi.
From Lappi's interview it seems the late start was just some confusion at start line and no mention of any penalty. Go Lappi!!
Tänak confirmed it from media-zone interview - he has nothing to loose, he does not care too much to finish and he has been over the limits and lucky to be there.

Unless Evans can find a few setup tweaks Id imagine he's a sitting duck to Lappi this afternoon.
Really hope Neuville can continue his pace and at least keep Kalle honest, for the championship sake. Surprised by his pace
Neuville is doing better than (I personally) expected, but don't get fooled by Rovaperä's "slow" times - he is sweeping the road, Neuville is 4th on the road.
2nd pass and rutted two stages may suit better for Neuville again. I think first time we can say something about Rovanperä's pace is tomorrow lunch time.
Kalle lucky again with rain?

Heavy rain in a about hour. Should drench SS6
Loubet is all over the place, hard to believe he reach to finish like this.
Solberg stopped.
... it makes fight in the RC2 category really interesting.
Solberg doesn't even need to drive on the limit to be one of the pace setters. Definitely needs to learn how to dial it back a few % and find a safer pace
Solberg wasn´t even hitting anything more than anyone else.
Now we should talk about Skoda reliability?
Mikkelsen is "smart"... doing same speed as top drivers in WRC2... and even faster.
Lindholm broken powersteering. The ruts seem to be really rough…
Think rally1 escapes rain in this stage but later runners are in trouble
