Delecour struggling with the gravel now and losing big time.. :(
Unlucky for some SS13... Tlustak, Hirschi and Jeets all off.
Delecour also with a problem.. "It was tricky at the end, I touch again at the back of the car." May have flattened one of the exhaust pipes.

SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI
"I am quite mad about the starter of this stage, he started me just before Craig Breen, I had to find a place to let him past." - Broken a bit of the bumper trying to get out of Breen's way"
... I thought the cars had specific start times and absolutely had to hold to these times.
How can someone else decide when to start someone?
Am I really such a novice in rally organisation?
Rally crash club are having their annual meeting today it seems!
The Stajf-Breen problem was due to there being some laps involved on the stage I think..
Bergkvist has done a stunning debut in ERC this weekend finishing fourth in Rallye du Valais in 4WD class.
Congrats to a final win for Breen with Peugeot!
His words after last stage give a hint of an end of his ERC campaign, at least with Peugeot Rally Academy:
"It's a huge win for me. The team really took a big risk to take this chance on me. I have had a wonderful couple of years. The year has been good speed wise, especially on the specialized rallies. Our speed has never been in question, but our season should have been better."
Good win for Breen but typically he has a clean run and a reliable car when it's too late.
Hope he has a better season in 2016 but I think his chance of a title is remote. ERC 2015 was his best chance of winning a major championship but he made too many errors.
Rumours earlier said that the team of Emil Bergkvist will release news what will happen in 2016 this weekend after finish of RIV.
I'm very very happy for Breen, he deserves this victory. As already mentioned, this season was his last chance to be an ERC champion, next year will will see a Škoda dominance.
A positive show by Bergkvist, Lukyanuk is improving his tarmac skills.
What happend to Delecour and Štajf?
Shame for Delecour not finishing... Retired on road section with high engine temps: suspected water leak. :(

On the official ERC app it shows the final results as Breen 2nd with a 2 minute penalty and Lukyanuk the winner. I assume that's a mistake?

Superb debut by Bergkvist in an R5 car here, very impressed.
Jumped nearly as high as Luky, too !

OMG ! You are right !
Peter Baert @peterbaert
#FIAERC It took the stewards 4 hours to give @Craig_Breen a 2 minute penalty for a tyre infringement. Drops to 2nd in Valais, Lukyanuk wins. :(
high as Luky?

Autosport.pt reports that he used 20 tyres instead of the mandatory 18 previously marked by stewards. Sos, when it's not Breen doing the damage, it's the team... Long gone the times of Kronos Peugeot being the rulers in semi-oficial french cars...
Always hate to see things decided in a steward's office afterwards like this.
Did Peugeot/Sainteloc screw things up AGAIN?
Strange no confirmation on the ERC website front page or their Twitter feed ...
sadly is official....
Last minute: Breen demoted from first place to second
Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) has been demoted from first place to second at the 56th Rallye International du Valais. Following a report from the technical delegate stating that Breen used 20 marked tyres during the rally, the Irishman incurred a 2min penalty. As a consequence, Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) is the winner of the last round of the 2015 FIA European Rally Championship.

Sums up his season really...
ERC finally confirmed the new result an hour later on their website & Twitter.
So Lukyanuk with two wins in ERC this year. Not so bad considering that he has no plans to participate at the start of the year. Hope his results in ERC and in WRGB in 2 weeks to convince some sponsors in his abilities and he can arrange a proper program in 2016.
Who's the fault of choosing 20 tyres? His or team's?
from Breens instagram
cbreen42Don't know what to say... We won the rally but unfortunatly a small mistake by the team today gave us a 2 minute penalty after the rally and we lost our victory.. Just can't believe how bad our luck has been, this has to change soon!
Unbelievable.
Lol PSA screws up again. Unbelievable, can't believe Breen will stay there, his WRC2 program was probably completely funded by him (and sponsors offourse)..

Sorry for Breen ... time for Sainteloc to change something, if they will continue with Peugeot Rally Academy ...
