I'll admit the wording is quite vague. Most rulebooks seem to be. But this is my best interpretation...
Wouldn't it be nice to have a WRC2 championship where competitors drive directly against each other in stead of avoiding each other for half of the season...
Anyway the possibility of tie is quite high and if this happen and Suninen would finally be champion I would laugh...well , at least until beginning of next season. :D

Do they mean the 7 rallies of which 6 results counted? Or only the 6 in which they score points? If it is 7, the 14th place of Evans (vs 16th for Suninen) will make him champion...
Simmi, why have you brought up Portugal where neither of them had nominated it as their WRC2 round?
If Suninen comes third in Wales, then they have finished exactly the same number of times first, second, third and fourth. What do they compare next? Stage wins?

Ok, my bad. Just looked at the "very easy to understand" WRC2 championship standings results on wrc.com
In that case I'd imagine that Evans would win it.
