Lots of crashes on the Autoglym Rally - Greensmith, Nordgren and Huttunen all went out. Actually it was quite rare that in a Finnish national event the top four places were taken by foreigners (Neuville, Veiby, Arai, Katsuta).

Pietarinen did proper job, but how often has a foreign driver set the fastest time in overall with Mitsubishi in Finnish championship????
Jacob Jansson from Sweden, the Man of the rally. He was one second slower than Pietarinen in the two forest stages on Friday and he was rallying first time ever in Finland.

I was not spectating the event live, but when someone is close to 1s/km faster than everyone else, everyone else looks as if they weren't even trying. This was just one event, but it's hard to downtalk Pietarinen's achievement. He was simply super fast.Quote:

Pirellis, but he was still super quick also. Though he's running position was 27 or something so hard to compare.
To me it looked like proper rally driving all the time, and there were offs for some of the top drivers, meaning that they sure were trying. Pietarinen didn't even look that spectacular, but maybe that's why he's so fast.Quote:
