A solid run by Tanak. 8 sec should be plenty in hand going into the PS.

Neuville had now fresh tyres, Kalle likely had at least partly used tyres.
Well I think he was a bit lucky with Mikkelsen having two engine blows, other than that Mikkelsen would have been the champion. Somehow I don't consider Lindholm to be a top driver, there's something missing in both consistency and pace.
Solberg has been impressive keeping it together for the weekend, and Pajari has shown positive pace, but has a lot to learn
The power stage may have massive ramifications, long-term.
If Tanak pips Kalle and heads to Mexico in the Championship lead, he may well rue having to open the road on the first day.
Quite a dilemma. Nice one, in a sense.
Breen 10 seconds penalty. Neuville into second
Craig Breen has checked into the regroup one-minute late, resulting in a 10 second penalty. This drops the Irishman to third overall, promoting team-mate Thierry Neuville up to second.
With Breen only contesting a part-programme this season, there's a potential this could be a deliberate move to help full-time driver Neuville net more drivers' championship points - although Hyundai has not confirmed this.
No team orders in Hyundai my ass...
Poor paddy...
Breen team player
Hyundai put Breen under quite a pressure now.. he can't drive slow, because if Kalle attacks then taking 7s off of him isn't impossible and if so, then no podium for him and hyundai..
My mate George was on it yesterday...

Going into the final stage or on the way back to service. With only seconds between them will @HMSGOfficial call team orders and tell their part time driver @Craig_Breen to drop behind their No1 driver @thierryneuville to maximize his championship chances ?
Katsuta retires with engine issue. They had engine update for this year. Maybe not everything has been done properly?
They haven’t added more splits. Unbelievable
Probably Hyundai's decision is bigger than just giving one time benefit for Neuville. Ford has said it clearly out that they do everything for Tänak, even their tools with playingfield are limited (compared to others). Now there is time for Toyota to analyze, is it smart to keep "the sportic" version and no team-orders, or they play everthing for Rovanperä for drivers title.
I hope Tanak goes for the PS points. Ogier always did and didn't worry about the next rally.
No extra engines for sure but could be a risk of breaking things more if they would have continued. Also someone suggested it could be tactics to give Lappi less road cleaning but I doubt that...
Watching Oliver driving PS, I take all my words back of safe driving to the finish :)
edit: but he made it, huh.
Well deserved victory for Oliver, very mature rally
Congrats Oliver and Elliott !

Big congrat to Oliver! What a rally he did!
Really good and mature drives from both Solberg and Veiby, both x-hyundai juniors.
