Sounds serious as an air ambulance is required.
As well as being terrible for those involved it will be bad for the organisers and their hopes of showing the area to the world on TV.
On Rtbf they told that they will shorten the stage +/-650m
You mean the place, where he was fighting with the top guys, only one who lifted, was Lappi, and they had gone over it for 3 times already? You are always such a good driver in theory, you should be there and showing them. Except real cars don`t handle like in GTA or something like that.
Go to the onboard, watch. All 3 others lift (no onboard for Neuville available), he doesn't. His car doesn't survive the nosedive, other cars don't nosedive at all.
That's facts. All this random insults you add don't change it.
EDIT: Even Østberg is on the brakes before the jump.
They aren`t insults, its what you always say, how it would be so easy to change the line going over 100 kph on loose gravel in something like 10-20 meters. Most of the time mathematically impossible, not to mention how it would result in a bigger crash due to physics.
I just can`t see, how you can put those radiators on the driver. Maybe you lack rallying experience as a driver?
UPDATE: The intention is now to run SS23 Great Orme Llandudno 2 for the top competitors at 1330.
How is it possible that I get the information from this forum before I hear it on the live TV coverage?
Well it is clearly up to the driver to prevent excessive nosedive and also if it was the place where others lifted and he didn't that seems logical to me.
Nose dive or not, this can relatively simply be rectified with a forward facing lip that is bent upwards so that it doesn't dig into the gravel.
If there is space for it however is a different question.
Bend the lip upwards and overlap it with the underside of the bumper. Even if the bumper gets damaged you have a secondary barrier and you still retain a flat floor while the bumper is intact.

SUN 13:00 - SS23
Only the top 14 cars will tackle the stage.
Neuvill's landing wasn't worse, because you can see that Toyota's front even bounced back into air after the impact, and in Neuvill's case it wasn't so much into the front of the car, but yeah I agree, I wouldn't say that he prevented it because of his skill, just luck and different car.
Stage will start at 13:30, route will be shortened for 650 m and only top 14 crews will go through stage.
They ran the jump on the shakedown and Tänak nearly did the same then

Al least tv are showing the stage from this morning for all to see the Gt Orme Llandudno. :)
New starting time on SS23 is 14:45 CET got it from All Live ...
UK TV (Ch5) are staying with the live coverage. Hope other countries do the same.
I like Tommi. He knows that it's a tall order for JML to take the winner and even had a wry smile as he said that Ogier probably has it sorted.
13.45 start now. Also seems to be raining a bit...
Imagine if Power Stage was a last stage....
Stage will start at 14:00.
