The cost of the box is only one issue, and its almost irrelevant. The real problem is the airplane that receives the transmitted on-board signal from the cars. There was an article a little while ago explaining it but I cant find it. What I remember is, It can only receive from the cars that are within a certain distance of it and it usually flies a racetrack pattern over the stage, shifting from start to finish depending on who the director wants to follow. If you wanted to have reliable on-boards from the 0 car which is usually a long distance away, and on-boards from the competing cars at the same time, you would need to have to have a second plane flying. Of course there are other ways to send an on-board signal like 4g, but it's not an option in Monte and also not an option in a lot of other rallys.

on SS4 it comes upp with SS3 times bothe on stage 3 and 4 for me.
do some other guys also now have the speed on live maps besides that one estonian guy in the world? :D
