But then they should act like it are 2 different events. 2 podiums, different tyre allocations, starting list based on Championship standings.

This rally is quite unusual in the the leader has been happy just to finish as the overall winner, plus Tanak has been out of it

If all the main contenders were at the top they'd all be fighting for position on both days, and their points would be a fair reflection.

Points system is not easy for people who understand it, for most of regular and news fans it is only chaos. So it doesnt needs to be made clear, it should be made more easier and understandable for everybody.

Indeed. And do we get the action and show? Given that there is no easy way to see Sunday standings (downright impossible with official sites), the entire competition for Sunday classification remains in the dark for vast majority of followers.

Yea while drivers aren't cruising i wouldn't say the action is interesting, it's all a bit muddled up. They need to come up with something more natural than this gimmick.

Otherwise happy for Lappi he drove well, and Evans somehow got good points in the end. Tanak needs a comeback soon or he may find himself supporting Neuville.

No. Winner of the rally is the guy who is fastest in finish of the rally, with best time from all stages together.

I know lot of fans who still dont understand it. And I know also some of them who has given up to understand it and dont take care about points, just only follow the rally and results.
