A few names that must be highlighted are Pärn with R5 for first time, Kaur, Aus, Murakas and Kõrge with Evo 9, Vorobjovs, Plangi and RZEZNIK with Evo X
2WD calss is very competitive including: Volver, Gryazin*2, Siniorg, Uustulnd, Kuusik*2 etc.

I thought DMack Trophy was reserved to Ford Fiesta R2s...and I see a driver in 208 on Vorunaa Rally entrylist :confused:
I think that the rule is that they must be below 25 years old, they must drive A6, N2, R1 or R2 car and use DMACK tyres. It seems that there are a bit softer rules for national DMACK Trophy, there is also one C2R2 in the list. Conditions are really very interesting. It is currently 0 on the surface, 0,5 in the air and -1 overnight. The road surface is full ice and snow around the stage. There were numerous offs today, during the recce. Tomorrow will be -1 in the morning and up to +3 but roads are mostly solid ice and they should last... very, very, very slippy.Quote:

Short report of Estonian Championship round 2 Võrumaa winter:
Rally was held in near perfect conditions. There was a lot of snow and ice on the road surface. However, the temperature was up to +3 degrees by noon but the rodas were still very good. Little gravel came out only in a few places.
Pärn/Morgan did their first rally with MM Motrosport Fiesta R5 and they won it. They did good job. Fast enough to win the rally but nothing crazy.
Plangi was showing his good form an he has now won all the rallies or all the class wins this year. That was win nr 4 for him.
Kõrge was doing fine at the beginning but later lost to Plangi.
Aus lost the rally at the very beginning when one of his tyres decided do get rid of the upper layer. It has happened with this tyre company before and it happened again, twice. Similar thing happened to Kaur if I am not mistaken. Additionally, Kaur had some gearbox trouble and he lost some time and positions during last two stages because of this problem.
Volver was the fastest 2WD, he had one puncture as well but not with too major timeloss. This puncture was the result of going a bit too wide.
