Võrumaa winter rally will be held on Saturday.

A few names that must be highlighted are Pärn with R5 for first time, Kaur, Aus, Murakas and Kõrge with Evo 9, Vorobjovs, Plangi and RZEZNIK with Evo X
2WD calss is very competitive including: Volver, Gryazin*2, Siniorg, Uustulnd, Kuusik*2 etc.
The region has a lot of snow and ice at the moment. There will be few + degrees before and during the rally but it is not too bad. As I said, there is a lot of snow and ice, I was there over the weekend.

I think that the rule is that they must be below 25 years old, they must drive A6, N2, R1 or R2 car and use DMACK tyres. It seems that there are a bit softer rules for national DMACK Trophy, there is also one C2R2 in the list. Conditions are really very interesting. It is currently 0 on the surface, 0,5 in the air and -1 overnight. The road surface is full ice and snow around the stage. There were numerous offs today, during the recce. Tomorrow will be -1 in the morning and up to +3 but roads are mostly solid ice and they should last... very, very, very slippy.
