If ALL YARIS have same issue - it's a car. Near all Tanak offs in 2018 - it's his mistakes.

Maybe Tanak means he's not pushing HIMSELF... not the car.
He's always sooo cool and relaxed and not stressed by his speed.
Meeke hold his position but im afraid Ogier will take him tomorrow, i hope not
Ogier making the point clear enough about the roadbook.
no restart for Evans tomorow
Ogier angry about the gate where he lost power steering
Roadbook is the bible. Everybody should know that. This all might get interesting...
Budar says "there is a barrier and you go left"... but there wasn't the barrier on first pass, just on second.
Anyway the onboards are not on yet so I have no idea who went there, but if penalties are handed out I hope they are on 5 max 10s level. Even 10s is a bit too much considering they probably gained like 1-2s maximum.
if the French Mafia get a penalty applied......
Estonian news site: Toyota guys went to bring the car back, still no mobile or radio service there and they dont know exact the reason.
Toyota moved their service operations to Estonia.
Is that one of the reasons why car is "weaker" now ?
Work etics ?
Service quality ?
Just asking!

Thinking back to Rally Australia 2014 when Kris Meeke was penalised 61 seconds for all 4 wheels having left the designated route.
Will be interesting to see how SS11 is viewed by Stewards today
Maximum time gained from.going right on that barrier must be 1.2 seconds lol. Can't it be considered as cutting a corner? Especially if it's the Organizers fault the barrier was removed after recce then put back up... Citroen and Ogier getting desperate too early in the season... Panic mode in full affect
weaker now?
its been weak since 2017
i wouldnt say its even weaker
E: i agree with dimviii
they don't design or engineer engines, transmission or etc in Estonia..

ℹ️ Update on car #8 of @OttTanak: The team is yet to recover the car and speak to the crew, but we know that battery charge was decreasing before the stage. Our working assumption is that it is alternator or battery related.
Latvala retired for the same reason in germany last year and i think he had the alternator problem also on some other rally last year
It should be much more than that, if the road book says that you have to go from left side of gate.
Doesnt matter how much you win by using wrong side or is there barrier on first loop. There was barrier in recce. Normal cutting is different situation, its not linked with road book. This is.
Similar issues I recall:
M. Martin sometime in 2004? cut completely across a camping area either in Mexico or Argentina. Think he got 30s or so of penalty. Couldn't find it using quick search.
on the other hand:
P. Solberg drove across a sealed-off bridge in Mexico sometime around 2007? where the barrier on the bridge was put after the recced so he gained a lot relative to others but got no penalty as it wasn't like that in recce.
What a shame... 2017/18 year was hydraulics for JMLand this year electrics?...
Mexico high temp
correct. but someone asked where there previous rallys where alternator problem. I answered.
With the onboards on WRC+, did someone find who did not take the gate?
There are no onboards for SS11 yet:(.
he is whining because he hit the bridge, if he hadnt im sure he wouldnt talk about it
Ok, thanks for the quick response... I'm very curious.
according to autosport.. inside line was barricaded off on recce' but not on first pass' it was on 2nd pass it... so I'd put this down to marshalling issue.. if you approaching this at 80mph.. you have not time to figure out if there should be tape there or not. ogier did.. and hit bridge. he should just get over it.
