The contract renewal it’s great to them and to WRC, as RS is one of the most iconic events of the season. Like some of you already said, let’s hope they can get more northern ss to avoid weather risks.
It’s also great to see that this year the VW’s aren’t so far away from competition (Meeke at MC and now Paddon, they both put Ogier under real pressure!) and that WRC2 it’s full of young talented drivers.
One final note about Lappi: probably there’s too much criticism on him; Ok, he did a mistake (like so many others, including Ogier), but he got some extra pressure because of the silly start position that was given to him at first leg (like in MC). To me he’s the only one capable to fight Evans for the WRC2 title.
P.S.: terrible season start for Camilli. Hope he can get over it and start to show all his potential!
