My former female boss with a long story of personal (often unsuccessful) relationships once told me that a man goes through four types of women who he loves in his life and the four corresponding types of relationship. With #2, it was exactly what I said above; we didn't think much about trust and values; we just enjoyed mutual attraction. Even when our relationship started deteriorating we still felt it. It took us four years to go the full course from the first kiss to breakup, and there wasn't much friendship between us. Even now, when we bump into each other, we immediately feel that magnetism that had bonded us together back then. But what happens next, we don't know what to do with each other. We've come pretty close to restoring our relationship once and it didn't work because of what I just said: attraction, but no real understanding between us.Quote:

Stupid confusion due to the hospital putting a different name on the birth certificate and all the documents including passport of the missus in her maiden name (which she has kept)

No pics. We built our first snow guy on the dark evening of January 1. We used the thin layer of of the first snow, and the snowmen was made of mud as much as snow. He was a tough and honest guy, although not very lucky. He lasted for about a day. :/

Build the snow man around a concrete pillar or post. Saw this on a video once. Over the course of a few nights, people were building snowmen in a carpark, and local idiots where driving their cars through them, so eventually the builders built their snowman around a four foot tall concrete bollard. he next morning the snowman had gone, to be replaced by the mangled wreck of a yob-box.Quote:

Our pres started as populist, too. He also talks funny. That said, he's got a perfect political instinct and he is a quick learner. He's been in the office for twenty years by now and outlasted all presidents in the neighboring countries, both democratic and undemocratic. If you accept that the politician's main goal is power, he can surely qualify as a successful politician. He also tends to lean to the left, but he changes his economic policies from socialist to liberal in a wink of an eye, as the situation requires.Quote:
