I read that too.

Does anyone have any insight on whether the switch to Pirelli will have an impact on the competitive order? Suit some more than others? I might be doing Pirelli a disservice, but I can’t help feel we might see more punctures.
imho pirelli always had durable tyres at wrc,but for sure a different tyre from michelin will require different settings and fine tuning for the cars.
Lets see which team will find them faster.
Rovanpera drove only at snow/slush at tests? didnt saw any video on tarmac?

Loubet is using some pretty weird hybrid aero config there:
- post Estonia 2020 front aero (but older that the one tested by main team a week ago)
- pre Monte 2020 diffuser ( last used in 2019 by main team)
- pre Monte 2020 roof vent
- old fills in rear side skirts/wheel archers)
- old rear wing (think it was also updated a year ago)
I get that they might have some spare parts to use and that understeer has been biggest problem historically. But still think it's strange that they run a config that was never seen in filmed tests or used in a rally before.
Also wonder how this works with rules.
Will be interesting to see what config he uses in the rally itself.
