Then let's wait few days...
Also no in Finland :( :(
By the way about the situation with Černý and Kreim on Pindula - according to a guy who was at the place where Kreim changed wheel (first part of the stage) the whole change took only 1:25 and another 20 seconds to fasten the belts. He restarted roughly 10 seconds ahead of Černý. Based on the results Černý finished 1 second behind Kreim but without GPS data or onboard it's impossible to tell how long did he follow Kreim so closely.

not the best picture but ...
In this case I would like to quote Mirek: This is just one spectator arena on the only relatively easy stage of today - few hundred meters of 13 km. The thing is that this area is owned by one of the most important Barum Rally sponsor. The guy offered his company area for making it a spectator arena for people who don't go to the forests as it's a "corner" of the stage which actually goes from the forests into Zlín city before it turns away again. Yes, it is artifficial but people can reach it by trolleybus and it's always completely crowded. You may hate it but it makes wonders for the publicity.
Also, that barrel was there to make that corner more tight, because if the car go straight with fast speed, it is very easy to crash into small streem on the exit. And as this is spectator place, we prefered to do it slower.

Looks to me that the "famous" red barrel was in a different position on the first loup (2m14s). Or am I seeing wrong?
By the way guys, just wanted to say that it was such a pleasure to have this rally thread without the usual nasty, childish, pathetic comments from you-know-who. :)
If only all threads could be like this... :(
What do you think about rally? That you can step in and drive directly with the best on your first tarmac rally? For a driver with less experience as Sirmacis he did very good in a competitive playing midfield, he was like you said sometimes in the top 5, great results and yes it's good to find the limit of the car and yourselfs, that's the way it goes with the best.
I think he's showing great potential for a private driver, Skoda will pick him up as a (semi-)factory driver i think for 2017.
Before the puncture the first few stages were pretty good. On his first 4wd asphalt event to be in the ballpark with decent local guys like Valousek, Cerny and Tarabus and ahead of Kreim (who has been rallying a Fabia R5 on asphalt all year) I think is pretty respectable.
just read this, dont know if its true,it doesnt matter, just for reference.Maybe Pluto or Mirek know some more?
Special M @TheSizSilent
!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!On the split, 300m before he hit the barrel @AlexeyLukyanuk was 3s faster than Kopecký.

Didn't Sirmacis do that in the Acropolis Rally? He stepped in and drove directly with the best in hist first gravel rally with Fabia R5.
I guess after this result my expectations were a little too high. Of course, I didn't expect him to win Barum, but I also didn't expect him to be 15th.
I wish him good luck in Liepaja!
Acropolis is gravel still and also that was a bit of luck. We have no local tarmac stages in latvia, so all his experience on tarmac are foreign events, most of them with r2 cars. Also, punctures happena anf with so competitive field, even 15th was not so far away in timescale.
Amazing show from Luckyanuk! Mr. Wilson should give him a WRC2 seat next season.
Barum Rally 2016 has brought 430 new potential donors of bone marrow. Together with 2015 it is already 1001 potential new donors who enlisted themselves at Barum Rally.
In that case enjoy full-stage SS13 with Alex ;)

The best part of the stage is the last two minutes.
Are You Alexey Arnautov personally? Welcome to the forum anyway!
welcome Alexey, congrats for yours best performance so far!
Could You write us some short impressions from the weekend? How did You like the event, the competition, the car, the atmosphere etc.? It's always nice to see things also from the crew's point of view. Of course only what You can write :)
