Wich car is Duval using ? Carlssons old ?
a new one ?
Was stohls car fixed after the last crash ? stohl using Carlssons old car ?

Hmmm... (it's going to fast)

thats one thing i'd like to know.. what version car Duval is using. Its hard to tell from the outside, but according to the older front bumper it looks like its a 05 model, which doesnt make sense seen doesnt Duval need to use passive diffs, meaning it should be a 06 model? and if it is a 06 model, why the old style bumper?

17th August 2007, 10:19

He did Norway.

Excellent time from Duval, I know you can do it, just don't crash, :X
I would love to see Duval on the podium, he is more than capable of doing it.

It's also good to see Gardemeister in a rally, hopefully he improves during the weekend.

Ford Had a half spin on a hairpin - "When its open and wide then we're okay, in the narrower places it is difficult to find the grip.""

So basically no problems when the road is straight, but in the corners we are in troubles... :D

Good morning all. I hope you're all enjoying the Citroën show (aka Rallye Deutschland) ;) A very good effort from Duval on roads that already must be significantly dirtier than when the championship leaders went past.

Also a Citroën party in the JWRC with Prokop and Burkart clearly outpacing Aava on SS1.

How old do you want him? Miikka Anttila is almost 35 years old, with more than 50 WRC starts to his credit. I don't think many older, more experienced codrivers are currently available for a full-time WRC seat.

Is Duval supposed to participate in any more tarmac events this year? (He might spoil gronholm aspirations for the title)

If there's still a change for the title (Loeb/Citroen) before Spain, he'll normally compete in that event.

After a slow start (+3.8 on split 1), Duval was 4.2 secs faster than Loeb on the rest of the stage!!!

It might be a bit early, but if Duval can keep this pace up and get a podium surely Citroen should sign him for the remaining Tarmac events, taking points off Ford??

For example as second driver next to K AL QASSIMI, then K AL QASSIMI can learn from Duval too

One tarmac rally maketh not the man a legend :) I agree he has speed on tarmac but as a complete driver there are a few too many screws loose in his head for him to be anything more than just a tarmac specialist. But it's good to see him back and doing well :)

Martin Prokop is flying in the Junior category. After three stages he's got over 36 seconds on Urmo Aava.

It seems Hermann Gaßner ran into trouble on stage 3, leaving Jasper van den Heuvel with a clear lead in Group N. The gap to Eyvind Brynildsen is already huge.

Greetings all. And Daniel. :p :

When I saw the time for SS1 I thought un-oh, it's going to be a Citroën whitewash, but it seems the pace of the Fords improved, although not enough to take time out of Loeb. Hopefully the afternoon stages will be trickier and will suit Marcus better.

Seems Franky Duvet's Xsara has got some extra bits. I expected he would be quick, but I didn't think he'd be C4 quick. It promises to be an exciting weekend.

Where is Stohl`s speed?

i have a theory.

before citreon trimmed back the customer xsara so as not to take points of sordo on gravel. now kronos/citroen have duval back in the seat, to take points from ford, so they have given duval a very quick car. but if stohl got the same 'quick' car as duval, he would be very annoyed that he didnt get the same car all year....

no?
