Yes and Ogier has said the same thing on every interview, every service and after every stage. It makes it more funny when he does it after a stage that Citröen win.

Because they always ask him the same question... can you go faster, can you catch Tanak.

Tanak has this rally in his hands now, great performance from him so far.
Ogier is 9th after the puncture, but can easily climb back to 7th if all is fine with the car. Considering the power stage, he might lose only little points to Neuville, so he has still plenty of chances to win the championship.

It does not seem to be the priority for the team.(1 day test and no car changes) Which in a way is understandable given the standings and since they have Sordo for tarmac. This might change as Neuville is starting to struggle on tarmac as well.

Reminds me of that Sordo puncture last year in Sardinia. On one of the few TV stages he went wide into the ditch and on the following straight puncture started. Poker face and "no idea how it happened".

They also have real problems on smooth tarmac. Check SS11/15 here, 3 Hyundais as 3 last WRC. Here the Panzerplatte bumpy tarmac saves them from disaster results, but its not good anyway.

They have known about this since Spain last year and so far I don't see any massive effort to fix it. Nandan did mention some new parts expected to come before Spain so we'll see.

Gutted for Ogier and the rally; he was the only one still trying to catch Tanak. The Yaris is doing great but Toyota strongest advantage is Tanak; it’s him who’s making the difference.

Like Ogier several times last year, Neuville seems to be in defensive mode; he’s not confident to attack and P4 points are better than none but Sordo is bravely proving that the i20 can be competitive on tarmac.

Another disastrous day for Citroen; they lost the chance to fight for a top 5 overall and win WRC2.

Nice to see Rovanpera leading WRC2 (so far he beat fair and square much more experienced guys, like Kajto) but there’s no way he’ll cope Kopecky pace tomorrow.

And jesus christ are the Toyotas unreliable. Can somebody count how many technical issue related retirements Latvala has had in 2 years? The other weird part seems to be how they seem to happen to certain guys.
Mexico was a disaster but overall Tänaks mechanical issues seem to have somekind of a reason behind it, either a random stone damaged something or whatever. Latvala seems to have all the gearbox issues, electronical issues and so on.

I sometimes think is there something the driver can do about it? Can they be more thorough in check in the service. Is it that they have shittier mechanics dealing with their car or is it just purely bad luck.
