I bet the timing system is not automatically pushing the Split Times to wrc.com.
My guess, somebody types them manually.

Yeah, something wrong with Mikko or the car... :(
It must be the car, because Mikko was repaired yesterday:

For an example,
In Rally Sweden, P.Tidemand will drive a latest spec Fiesta as an privateer for M-Sport. So yes, this year, you can get latest updates even as a privateer. :)

Naa, many have doubt his speed, but maby not at this forum. It's not easy to jump into a wrc car at two events to show off when he not as rallying for a long time. But absolutly, he needs to finish this years events.
But this event, it feels like he don't go flat out every were, and now drive with his head. And for his first tarmac event in this car - this is real good! ;)
But ok, Im a Meeke fan.. :D

That means..most of the remaining stages will be run on wrong tyres?

If you want WRC radio on your Android smartphone but you don't have flash to open in the browser, you can have it doing that :
1. get MX Player from the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... r.ad&hl=fr (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=fr)
2. click on the three dots on the top right hand side of the app, select "Network stream"
3. copy and paste this link : http://unas.mpl.miisolutions.net:1935/u ... ylist.m3u8 (http://unas.mpl.miisolutions.net:1935/unas-live08/_definst_/mp4:wrc_radio_eng/playlist.m3u8)
4. click OK and WRC radio should start on your smartphone !!
I want listed WRR at Winamp, and this url stream link - didn't work.
In that playlist file not a direct link, there are one more playlist.

Ogier
Lots of water on the road, very worn tar, with many black patches on the road, the grip is a bit like ice.
They noted maximum and openers have added us.
I was quite surprised at the beginning of special, I am surprised that Bryan was able to ride as fast at the beginning of ES with its tires.
The safety of the arrival of the two, it sucks shit, we get to 180, without grip, they are placed after 150m we go into the field to avoid killing 15 people.
Bryan quite a beautiful morning, but the road is still long, everything is still doable .

But Ogier, it's something special about this guy... No one is near him in speed, but he had some big moments on SS9 :P
Not really big I think, I saw just one big slide on a slow muddy corner
I was only looking from big screen the onboard.. well.. I could not count those moments :-) But it was really entertaining!

So disappointing about Kubica! But it just goes to show he's got a great potential in the future, certainly on tarmac rallies.
If I were Hyundai, I'd be pretty annoyed at whoever decided to drop Bouffier from the lineup!! Interesting to see if the battle may continue later or if Ogier will run away with it now.
Who would you have dropped, past Monte winner Bouffier, 2013 wonderkid junior Neuville, or one of the best no.2s the sport has ever seen Sordo? They chose their fastest driver and their banker, didnt work out this time but they had 3 men for the job and 2 cars, someone had to miss out.
Shame of Kubica, but watching Ogier incar their its incredible that RK was running at that pace, Ogier is an incredible driver but he has had lucky bounces this weekend that another time could have been damage and real time loss

60,70%?
Do you think he won WRC2 with 10,20% rally finished, smartass?
He finished in exactly 78,2% of his rallies (ERC/WRC2/WRC)

Haha, no not just one.. ;) At least 3-4... I see at least 2 big ones. But okey, no one of them had ended his rally if he had gone off the road. But in SS9, he drove at least 100% ;)
The difference between him and the others is that he ofc has a lot amount of skills but he is a hot head, he goes flat out there no one else tries... He is special in a good way, but a bit boring that he always win! :smokin:

And this talk about Bryan and Hyundai.
Bryan is very skilled in Monte Carlo and on fast dry tarmac as well, but he is a Monte specialist. Sordo is more all round I think.
Sordo is a much better choice I think in the long run!
Hang me if you will :)
But Bryan and Dani in Monte would have been a perfect setup.
Sordo did it very well as long as the car worked.

Of course since they are fielding only 2 cars here you make a good point, those two drivers are a reasonable choice. But haven't they got Hanninen and Atkinson for some rallies? Does anybody think those guys will bring a fight to Ogier first time? I know Bouffier is kind of known as a Monte specialist, as old-school rally used to have more, but I wonder if that's not just that he's a generally good tarmac pilot who always happens to do the tarmac event with the biggest profile due to his limited budgets.
I guess what I'm saying is while they've made a reasonable choice that happened to go bad this time, I'd be looking to get him in if
a) they ever run more than 2 cars this year or
b) Sordo or other second drivers don't pay off
And Astro83 yes you may be right, I should look at Bouffier's other results to compare to Sordo... is rally still a "specialist" sport like in 90s and earlier?

You must be joking, right?
You get a WRCar and in your second rally, you just score some incredible times in the most difficult rally with the highest level of competition. If this is not talent, then what is?
IMHO, talent is not the problem, he has a lot.... Controling his pace though, is a big one, and he has to work on that... But for sure speed is there, with or without mistakes(?).....

OK to continue my Bouffier/RMC thoughts, I looked at his results and for sure he's good on tarmac, hard to say more to compare to Sordo due to only one previous rally in a WRC car (last year's RMC in a DS3 he came 5th). It's hard to say who'd be better in a "full asphalt season" between the two drivers to be honest. And I like Sordo!
I can say this is only Bouffier's second rally in a WRC car and first rally in a Ford, a strong experienced driver on tarmac but unproven in WRC, showing very good pace this rally, hmm who does that sound like to you all? Maybe somebody who everybody is going ape for in this thread?
Hint: he is Polish

Yes, I agree that the drivers should have a note of this in their pace-notes but anyway, it's a stupid mistake from the organizers anyway. 300m as you say is a natural distance. It is how it is, and this time it went okey but it will be some talking about this.

Yea, Hirvonen, wtf!! I was really thinking that he would find back to the speed with the Fiesta but, I will wait until after Sweden to judge him. But this rally is really bad as for his stage times! But have Hirvonen ever been fast here??
Mikko actually won RMC in a Fiesta, albeit in the IRC back in 2010. In the WRC he was second in Monte six year ago, some 2'30" down on Loeb.

Well, am I the only one that thinks that Kubica is not destined for big things in rally?
I've seen him few times on TV, and his driving is full with errors. I guess he's just brave enough to push that pedal, but that's it.
I don't see any talent in him so ever.
I think he was doing pretty good driving at this Rally
Well, let's hope I'm wrong. I have nothing against the guy, I just shared my thoughts.
You sure are wrong! Way wrong... maybe you should considerer football instead ;) :)
it's extraordinary how he could keep up with Ogier (in a much better car!) while the french was in a drive "out of this world"... of course that comes with a cost....... as a kubica fan, would I be satisfied if he slowed down a bit and just made it to the finish?!?

But to answer Astro83's question, he wasn't really fast. IIRC he only won one stage and just had a steady drive with good tyre choices (and a different brand of tyre to everyone else)

OK, once again I have nothing against Kubica, but there is something wrong the way he drives.
On every video I've seen so far, he's just going all over the road, making wide turns, struggling to control the car.
Is that bad? Well, I guess not, and his times confirm that. In fact, his stile is kind of attractive to watch.
I just have the feeling that he's always on the limit.

Yea, I know that he won in 2010 in IRC but in WRC he has not ever been successful but one second place then? How some he most hate this rally...He's to slow, it's not okey. At least he need to do some 3-4th stage times to be ok with his experience.
But I really hope that he will find the speed that he has under the season. Otherwise, this will be his last season as a factory driver I think.
