What is the smallest sea in the world?

The Sea of Dirac.

It explains anomalous negative-energy quantum states of relativistic electrons - and also predicts the positron.
In quantum mechanics we can only talk about the probability of finding an electron; that gives us position and zero size.

The smallest sea in the world is 0.0nm across.

That's a very ingenious answer, I'm impressed (and would not have thought of it in this context myself). Unfortunately it is not a real sea but a theoretical model and I'm looking for a real one.

Inland Sea?

The Inland Sea is connected by the Cash Flow to the Inland Re'venue and the Accountan Sea.

The famed ship the Crimson Permanent Assurance was the first to charter the wide Accountan Sea.

It's hard for me to tell from that map where it is. Could you please tell me what part of the world it is in?

The place I am using for the question is sometimes called the Inland Sea, but has a real name too. It's the actual name I'm looking for. I'll buy your answer though if the sea is in the correct location.

Ok, enough time has gone by to give the answer. It's the Sea of Marmara. Located between the Black Sea and the Aegean Sea in Turkey. There is some question as to what is truly the smallest sea, but according to my search several sources agree it's Marmara.

Rollo - something just came to me in a fit of enlightenment. Does your question mean the highest actual street number i.e. the commonwealth style of numbering starts at 1 and counts until there is no more land left on said street. Or does it include the U.S. urban system that includes the block number before the building number eg 34512 South 5th Street would mean block 345 to the South of the dividing line on 5th street, letter box number 12

steveaki13
23rd February 2015, 07:28
I have a feeling it is some kind of bacteria that exists in the lake. Can't remember why. Maybe due to a high mineral level or something.

As for where. Can't think right now.

anfield5
23rd February 2015, 19:48
It is thought to be due to an unusual algae that lives in the lake in large numbers, it is completely harmless, but it makes the lake look kinda cool (in a pinkish girly sort of way). The lake is called Lake Hillier and is located on a small island off the south coast of Western Australia.

It looks similar to the backdrop for an old Simon LeBon music video, can't remeber what song, or where it was filmed though (so that's no real help)

If it does turn out to be Sri Lanka, then the book would most likely be written by Arthur C. Clarke

Yes, it's the most populous island in the Marshall Islands.
