Yes it's a just a stupid chicane thing but, it doesn't count for classification. It will be imediatly after the presentation.
The other superspecial will be on the first and second day.

Ok, we had one spot in Tallinn Rally where the cars crossed the SSS track twice and there was one marshal to stop the slower car in case faster was catching it.

The only point I can see is the point that you can take nice pictures with sea in the background:-)

This city stage can be canceled before or during the performance of competitors. The organization has warned that the slightest problem with the public cancel it. Honestly I do not see how they will accommodate the public in such a short space.

By the way the roof of my house can be seen in the pic. :)

What happened to that parallel SSS from last years? It was situated in querry, with gravel surface, good for spectators, TV and photographers and best possible version of SSS.

Is much different. The stage used in 2001 began where it will end now, more or less. In 2001 the cars passed in the Lagoon of Sao Bras in the opposite direction and continue on the road (now on tarmac) that this year will serve as a liaison to the beginning of the stage. I'll see if I can find videos from the stage in 2001.

If I am not mistaken, then it should be between +10 and +20 all day and night long. Some humid weather but not heavy rain.

We can say the winter has not arrived to the Azores. Temperatures have been in the 18 º C and no rain.
Meteorologists are predicting rain for May only. But the weather in the Azores is unpredictable. At any time can change.

I hope that the fog does not make its appearance in the highlands mainly in the new stage making it impossible to capture images from the heli.

Ypres officials got told that Juho would start in Ypres, no word on Jan so he'll be indeed probably not doing Ypres. Misunderstood about Jan doing ERC then. Thought so, but it had the colors of Sousa on it. U see clearly that this is the car that liposh means.

U see it because it has the bumper and the spoiler that what I just said of Evo 9 and Evo 7 and that the colors have been stripped, u see some blue on it and also the Blackberry Logo.

Tempestini handbrake doesn't work, Saliuk's Fiesta only has power on the rear no 4WD power.

Bouffier won the demo stage in front of Magalhaes with 5.6 seconds gap! Definately had no problem with Gravel setup/tyres on tarmac, what Andreas and Juho had they were a bit sloppy. Drivers complained about the timing way too late. 0.42 local time. For the people who live there mid in the week not comfortable also I think.

In first leg Andersson was loosing mainly on the shortest stage, whićh he didnt liked and didnt suits to him. On other stages he was able to be on same speed. Then he (or his team?) decided to stay calm and drive carefully to earn easy points for SWRC, which is priority for him... But ok, also Pontus Tidemand was able to make same times like Ogier (in his second ond third start with Fabia S2000, without lot of experiences comparing to Seb).

It is not only about ferry. Yes, local government is helping with ferry and some other expenses (like Madeira for example), despite it it is still more expensive than normal continental event (and problem isnt only money, but also time - you are loosing rally car, service car and some mechanics for more than two weeks). I must say, last year our mechanics were out of home for three weeks in a row due to Rali Vinho da Madeira...

I just arrived from Sete Cidades 2 (SS7)
Very very fog all over the stage and lots of rain and mud.

Bruno rolled at a downhill section on a very slippery place with some bumps.
Tempestini hit a wall and pulled off a wheel but returns tomorrow

SS8 It was canceled due to heavy rain which opened big ditches
