nevermind, I'm hearing their new interview on WRR and it seems like Loeb isn't actually angry at Mikko's actions
Loeb nudged Hirvonen car after the end of the stage to express his displeasure, but Hirvonen was adamant he had done nothing wrong and had been sufficiently clear of Loeb when he restarted.

"I'm sure Sebastien's really, really mad," said Hirvonen. "I'm sorry about that, but when I've changed the tyres, I go. That's how the rules are now."

Yes, the mad Citroen "Sport". :(

you joined 2005 i joined 2001....so i was here ages ago as well shouting the same idiotisms....you know what was the major change that annoys you ?? the fact that the drivers your country produces the last few years are media champions and not real champions....thats why you find me annoying....because what i say its actually true. Its hurtful i know and at the end of the day if you an adult you can ignore me and follow your media champions without any nuisance from myself....but guess what the ridicule your champions will get from Loeb,Ogier,Solberg ects will remain and that is the thing you cannot stand.

The thing is that you are wrong. I don't take it personally if someone does well or not in the sport. I find you annoying and acting like 14 year old teenager because you focus on driver personalities instead of driving. That's why all the sickdogs and crap like that. When you have absolutely nothing to say, why not to shut up?

Of course can t be fake...40 sec behind Ogier is impossible with so few km on Sunday for Jari.Except that with broken driveshaft is going to loose minimum 1 minute at next stage

thats what i think also....but we will see. 40 seconds is a big lead but it also doesn't allow cruising and everything can happen as we saw last time. So i am a bit sceptical....

JAM
26th March 2011, 16:42

That is non-sense. 40 seconds to recover in 120km is impossible to Latvala

He lost too much time with the delays from Fords on two stages so Loeb is just sensible. Thirty-two seconds is too much for tommorow. Only with a spin or puncture from Ogier he can win.

EDIT: Agree with everyone with the tyres. Laughble reliability, there were concerns from the off-season testing already and so far problems in all 3 rallies. Destroys the show.

Quite funny this live text from wrc.com.

17:15 Wilson within reach of Podium

Matthew Wilson completes Loule in 15m53.6s, 36.7s off the pace. However combined with the issues of the Ford drivers, British driver Wilson is now only 1m12.2s behind Latvala in third place. When looking at the times a rather bemused Wilson said "It's unbelievable.."

Do they really think that Mathew will reach JML with Mikko 5,7 behind him?

Wilson on podium tomorrow!! This is great news! LOL, never thought they'll be the day.

It seem from this rally, Ford has the speed, but lack reliability compared to Citroen.

Also I notice the cars stays longer in the air due to light weight. Could be interesting to see in Finland.

Never say never.. tomorrow a few guys are going to gun for power stage win and when was the last time you saw Ogier finishing on podium? 6 rallies ago (winning Japan in 2010)! Anyway, I like that when we have three different winners after 3 rallies :-)

I am just looking the route that is planned for tomorrow. This time there is no reverse order for power-stage?
Stage 16 is approximately 21.5 km and should take approximately 15-16 minutes +2 minutes for stage end. 18 minutes in total.
Then they drive 6.55 km to refill that is another 7 minutes
Refilling might take something between 5-10 minutes
There is 18.5 km to the start of the next stage. that is another 18 minutes.
In total it is 18+7+10+18=53 minutes
Start time differences between SS16 and SS17 is exactly 53 minutes. So, no time for regroup. I have access to RG1 only and there is no regroup indicated between SS16 and SS 17 as well.

There is regroup before service but there is not enough time to reverse top 10-15 as well.

So, maybe it was Mikkos tactical plan to fell behind Wilson to get even better road-position for power stage? I assume that he is able to pass Wilson during the stages and if he collects extra 3 points.. and if they change positions with Latvala, then he can get exactly the same amount of points as Loeb (if Loeb fails to collect any PS points, which is quite likely being second car on the road - Solberg, Latvala, Hirvonen are all behind).

I am strong in theory :-P

Engine dead on the penultime stage of 2nd leg.

The leg was started with less power to preserve the engine, but on 10th stage it was on 3 cylinders and on the next stage... kaput!
