I think the Husqvarna Racing Team sold it. They replaced it with S6 SRT. And Otto Michna's Impreza also belong to this team.

rally Saulė is finished.after big battle for first place rally winer is Deividas Jocius (MLE 9 N4).this is first victory in Lithuania for him.his most dangerous concurents was Rokas Lipeikis(MLE 8 A8) and Evaldas Čirba(MLE9 N4).also Vytautas Švedas(MLE9 N4).Lipeikis broke his yelow Lancer after jump in SS1 but he could finish the race far far away in 21st.so big part of race behind Jocius was "flat-out" -2004 Lithuania Champion Evaldas Čirba.but in one of last stages he roled and his race was finished.Vytautas Švedas was trying to push Jocius, but red EVO was faster today, so first victory for Jocius!!!

Ollé (Subaru Impreza WRC X23 SRT) had a strong accident (the car was rolled).

Impressive James Xevi Pons who finished 2nd with the Aston Martin.

In the Exotic Green Rally (NL) was Mark van Eldik again too fast for the other drivers. He won with his Subaru Impreza S10 WRC and is already Dutch rally champion 2007! In only his second outing in the Skoda Fabia WRC (after a win in the Vechtdal Rallysprint three weeks ago), Harry Kleinjan was again very fast and was only 35" slower than van Eldik. Third was Wout Hazeleger with the ex-Mäkinen Mitsubishi.

The Eifel Rally (held 13/14 July) has been won by Mark van Eldik in his Impreza S12. This already one week after he took the Dutch championship. 2nd and a very good result for Peter van Merksteijn with his new Focus 06. 3td was Hermann Gassner. Wevers ended 5th after losing time in his Fabia.

Raliul Sibiului Pirelli 2007, the toughest gravel rally in Romania ended yesterday. 2005 Romanian champion Bogdan Marisca won in his Mitsu Evo IX, followed by the Impreza STI pair of Dan Gifrofan and Marco Tempestini of Italy. Last year's champion and winner in Sibiu, Constantin Aur (Evo IX), came 4th due to three punctures on the stages.

Rally San Crispino for Italian National Championship(CIR), very nice gravel stages, Andreucci in his evo 9 is showing his potential: he is fastest on today's stages, leading after stage six Piero Longhi more then 15 seconds. On this race we can see real driving skills-Basso and Rossetti can not drive as fast as Ucci, they are fast yust on tarmac stages(thanks to S2000 cars!!), but on gravel they are one step behind Andreucci.
Big surprise: in N3 class is leading our Slovenian driver Jeram with Fiesta! And this is his first ever drive on gravel stages in his life !! This is dissapointment for Italy....

Yes, yes, yes, Ucci made it....Congrulations to him and Ana and the hole RalliArt Team.He is the one and only, who resists drivers in superior S2000 cars. Well done!
But in four weeks it will be even harder for him-tarmac in northeren Italy, near Udine. I will be there and I will support him.
In this race(Alpi Orientali) Rossetti will push over 100%, it's his home event.

It looks there was significant changes in the final standings of rally due a mistake in Aghini's time in SS10, it was registered 12'32"6 instead of 12'37"6, so with more five seconds he dropped into 5th place.

1) Andreucci
2) Basso a 24"1
3) Rossetti a 45"1
4) Longhi a 49"0
5) Aghini a 49"8
6) Gamba a 50"7
7) Campedelli a 1'17"4
8) Medici a 1'24"7
9) Chentre
10) Dallavilla

Championship Standings

Basso 52
Andreucci 48
Rossetti 45
Cantamessa 25
Aghini e Longhi 22

Only this Russian, Radik Shaymiev so far. But next weekend in NORF we will see how competitive those S2000 cars are in fast gravel roads.

My opinion is that Anton Alen wont be fighting for victory, if everything goes well he might end up in top3 in class4.

If you look at the times of Cols in his N4 in Ypres, you can count Belgium as well. But, he was DQ at the end. In the Belgian championship he uses an A8, it's a pitty, because it is a lot easier for him. I think the battles would be great between him and F Loix, if he would only use the N4.

I spent the last weekend in the mountains watching Polish hillclimb championship round. Hillclimbing is quite popular here and what I especially like about it is that there is a great variety of cars of all kinds - WRCs, group A, group N, rally cars, racing cars, historic cars etc. Not just Subarus and Mitsubishis, like in traditional rallies ;)

Within a week the Dutch Hellendoorn Rally, formerly known as the Golden Tulip Rally, will take place around the cities of Hellendoorn and Nijverdal. Although it's not a round of the Dutch Championship 2007 almost all of the Dutch leading drivers will be present. Among them there will be three Subaru S12 World Rally Cars, driven by former champ Jan de Winkel, current champ Mark van Eldik and gentleman driver René Kuipers. Other contenders to watch are Wevers and Kleinjan (both Fabia WRCs), Boers, Coffey, Turnbull, Van Iersel, Kirtley and Mann (all Impreza WRCs), Haverkate (Octavia WRC), Temmink (Corolla WRC), Hazeleger and Van den Heuvel (both Lancer Evos) and last but not least Patrick Snijers (Porsche 996 GT3).
Full list of entries: http://www.hellendoornrally.eu/index/48/24/Deelnemers.htm

entrylist published today: http://www.bandwerkplus.nl/klanten/www.hellendoornrally.eu/uploads/Startlijst.pdf

Other Dutch Rallying news is the arrival of a Peugeot 207 S2000, purchased by Dennis Kuipers (son of Subaru driver René Kuipers). The car probably make it’s debut at the end of this season but most likely we have to wait untill next season.

Very vrong. Petrovic is winner. Sandell pin on ss5 and on last stage his turbo "dies" when he was in 2.2sec lead but Petrovic have 10sec penality. Great fight.

Czech international champ news...

Vaclav Pech won last event in Pribram even his title was secure before start and he could afford some drifts for spectators. Jan Votava was second close infront of Vaclav Arazim, but after the race Votava was disqualiffied for well known Lancer homologation story. So Arazim took second and Trojan third. Fourth and first in group A was Josef Petak, last time driving Clio S1600 (he has new 207 S2000). Emil Triner had a terrible crash after he suffered brake failure at 200 km/h and didn't manage to slow down the car enough by handbrake. Fortunately it was without an injury both the crew and spectators... Photos from the crash here:

There was a heavy rain in Postojna and some drivers went out on slicks so that explains the crazy results.

Actually, SSS was different this year, it was not held on the carting track, it was held on a parking lot.

About Pech, he left the intercom on overnight and the car wouldn't start out of parc ferme in the morning. Stajf spun on the second stage this morning, after that Barvik and Jezeršek both ran into him. The weather conditions are simply appauling, it was pouring rain all day long.

As far as Humar is concerned, he is just blindingly fast, on any road. However, he took a wheel off on the first stage this morning and that was that.

Kris Princen was the best in Group N with a Lancer Evo 9.

Most important retirements:

In this rally showed again, that Basso is a champion thanks to so many races on tarmac! If the story would be oposite,Ucci could show his driving skills and Basso&Rossetti would be in serius troubles.
For me Ucci is a big champion. If yesterday he did not get troubles with diff, we would win with a big margin.

Retirement for Jan Mölder who was running well :( and 15th overall for Radik Shaymiev...

Conditions were really bad on the first day - strong winds, rain, darkness and slippery, slippery mud. Next day the sun came out and roads dried up, but still the number of cars that retired was pretty high.

As far as I know Mölder had a slight off on SS6 and lost a wheel; that forced him to retire. But up until then he was running quite well, if you discount the 1 minute penalty for going into a TC too early.

PS! Some pics here too :)

Standings after first leg Rally Vsetín:

1. Kopecký - Fabia Kit Car A6
2. Semerád - Evo 9 N4, +3,0
3. Cais - Evo 9 N4, +7,0
4. Vlček Z. - Evo 9 N4, +8,5
5. Barvík - Evo 9 N4, +16,8
...
8. Flídr - Octavia WRC, +32,3
...
12. Grzyb - Swift S1600, + 46,1
...
14. Trněný - Octavia WRC, + 59,2

Very cold weather, sometimes snowing, wet roads covered by foliage. Very thricky conditions in the dark. I'm not here but when I look at the results I must raise the hat to Kopecký with only FWD beating an 4WD army. Very nice times from Cais, who doesn't race often. But I'm very pleased by Vančík on 15th place with Pletka's C2R2, who drives after several years long pause. He's now on 3rd place in group A only 23 seconds behind Grzyb and 14 seconds infront of Tlusťák :) Very bad result from both WRC drivers, for me even worse than I expected...

After 2 stages he is leading Rally Costa Brava and he have more than 30 sec. advantage over his Fuster who is fighting for the title too..

Madeira-Rally: Thanks, don't You know why I have only class results of some stages? Big battle there :)

As Filip said, Jarek Orsak won shortened rally Vsetin. Second was Josef Semerad and third Vladimir Barvik. All first three were in just 2,5 seconds! It was pretty close until the end and the man who had very bad luck was Zdenek Vlcek. He would win but he started too early, got 10 seconds penalty and got back to fourth place!

Jan Kopecky with only 2WD Fabia Kit Car was 6th overal but only 15,6 seconds from the first one.

now we move to Portugal next week ( Mortagua rally ) with Nuno Pereira and in the same weekend Loix is driving a small rally in Belgium with the Polo S 2000, after that the Condroz Rally in Belgium with 2 Polo S 2000 and then the Waldviertel Rally in Austria with normally 2 Polo S 2000.

A very disappointed rally. Hevia had two rivals: Fuster and Polo. The car had problems with steering all the moment. Then a broken manifold and on the last stage just 3 km before the end, a shock absorber broke and Hevia went of the road.

In those conditions Hevia was faster than Fuster and arrived to the last stage with a difference of 1,9 seconds. Very impressive the pace of Alberto.

Fuster won the Championship, Hevia was second and Vallejo third. Also Vallejo won the GT Cup.

[Madeira-Rally]

I think it's "normal" the problems that Hevia had this weekend...

which car don't have problems at all? All the cars have problems! Unfortunately Hevia had problems in a crucial race for the discussion of the title. But that doesn't mean Polo isn't a goo car. I think Polo is a quite good S2000 car... look at the performance of all the season of Havia... ;)

All the cars have problems as i'ts normal... for example Vitor Sá (Punto S2000) broke 2 engines this year... do you think Punto is a bad car? I don't think so... problems happen...

Anyway... congratulations to Renes Georges Team... I think they are doing a grest job in Polo S2000.
