I think it's clear the Focus is a much better car on gravel and that it's taking Loeb much more time to get the C4 to drive how he wants it to. The Xsara was a stronger all round car but the C4 is still coming up to speed on certain events.

But this is shaping up to be a good rally :)

That's the thing. I think there is no problem with Hirvonen. He'll think the situation from both points of view and will not risk the points he is getting. Latvala on the other hand drives for the win, he is actually driving for every stage win :D There may be some tutoring from Wilson towards Latvala if Loeb just drives away.

To me it seems fair to say that there is two driver at the moment who are getting "black belt" of rallying. Obviously Latvala but also Atkinson. It's questionable if Petter has anymore any clear speed edge over Chris which is disturbing fact for Petter. Altough I think that Petter might still be faster when every aspect of car is working well. But with current Impreza there is hardly any speed difference as fas as Sweden and Mexico are concerned.
