What's up with the tyres on the Hilux, different tread on one side, I thought they could only run one type of tyre at Dakar?

I like how in the official website they uploaded pictures of all the competitors' veichles in black and white, who thought it was a good idea?? Absurd...
Anyway, let's hope it'll be a nice competition.

Frankly I finally lost my patience with the official website. The live timing is so strange and confusing that I follow nearly only the Dutch site and some tweets.

Loeb takes the lead after ss02 by 30 secs... but this means nothing since hamburger boy can still lead him into a sticky situation like last year.
