Interesting, either someone jumped the gun on the story or NascarNow is running way behind. Less than 5 minutes ago they reported the story of failing post qualifing but said the penalty was still being considered.

He qualified an illegal car, and his qualifying time was disallowed. I don't see how this is any different than any of the other stories we have seen this year. I certainly don't see how this shows any bias. There is no way they could have allowed him to keep a time achieved with an illegal car. Seems like an easy call to me.

Yeah, I agree. Where is the problem.

Well of course they don't want to punish rough drivers. Drama makes for better ratings than actual race cars.

That's pretty consistent with last week. The only difference is that the Hendrick cars were in the top 35.

Every time a driver/team that some dislike does something against the rules and or "aggresive driving" and no punishment is handed out it's "biased".
Then when the "hated driver/team" is punished it's also "biased" cause the punishment is never harsh enough.

I think the days of 25 point penaltys are long gone from racing.
If Richard Pettty was racing today he would be banned from racing.
Don't take anything I post too seriously folks.

There are actually some fans that would ban all drivers except the three favorites of him/her.
